The #1 Most Popular Urban Area to Move to in 2024? RALEIGH! MoveBuddha analysts collected proprietary data from 2020 to June 30, 2024 to evaluate move trends across all 50 states. Analysts relied heavily on the in-to-out ratio equation analysis to see which cities were earning more residents by move ins. Raleigh had the top move in-to-out ratio at 1.55. It was found that for every 100 move outs, there were 155 move ins. North Carolina was noted as the overall volume winner by earning the most net searches for moves in, taking Q1 winner Texas (now #3) out of the top spot. Moving to the Triangle and need a job?
