The Triangle Emerges as AI Hiring Hotspot
As reported by Axios, the Triangle is becoming an AI hiring hotspot. The Triangle has one of the largest concentrations of new job postings related to artificial intelligence, with Raleigh ranking #10 nationally with an estimated 19.7 new AI jobs listed per 100,000 residents. Durham comes in at #13, with 18.5 jobs.
The jobs estimates are based on UMD-LinkUp, an AI language model that sifts through job listings for AI jobs, which are defined as those that require technical skills to either create or use AI models.
Cities with large concentrations of tech companies fared well in the study, with the Triangle boosted by the local education and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
