Raleigh Recognized as #7 U-Haul Growth Metro of 2024
The results are in for U-Haul’s annual growth index! Raleigh took the #7 spot for cities with the highest in-migration growth. The metro had the seventh largest net gain of U-Haul customers using one-way moving equipment. The report contained over 2.5 million one-way truck, trailer and U-Box portable moving container transactions that occur annually in the U.S. “The area continues to grow due to the career opportunities and quality of life people find here. North Carolina State, UNC and Duke are all in this area, which gives this market a young, energetic college vibe. UNC’s and Duke’s healthcare systems are huge and bring in a lot of employment.
