Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel-Hill Hospitals Recognized for 2024 Hospital Safety
The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit for healthcare services, has recognized multiple hospitals in the Triangle for receiving an outstanding ranking in hospital safety practices! Over six hospitals in the area received an ‘A’ grade that represents ‘Better than Average’ on the comparison scale. The survey assessed over 30 different factors regarding prevention of errors, injuries, and infections. WakeMed Raleigh Campus, Duke University Hospital, and Duke Raleigh Hospital all received ‘A’ grades. UNC-Rex Hospital received a ‘B,’ missing the chance to earn an ‘A’ by less than tenth of a point.
