Two of the Triangle’s anchor locations have landed on Money.com’s list of the Best Places to live in the United States! Raleigh takes the #4 spot, with Chapel Hill coming in at #12. To complete their annual ranking of top places to live, Money considered factors like economic opportunity, quality of life and diversity.
Raleigh stood out among 49 other cities for its affordability, low unemployment rate, big name employers, and local culinary scene. Dining, recreation, events, and low cost of living are just some of the components that make up Raleigh’s overall appeal. Raleigh essentially has it all – from a diverse community to events that draw in half of the East Coast’s population.
Long regarded as college town, Chapel Hill is growing up! The location of the nation’s first public university, more than 60,000 people call Chapel Hill home. From seafood staples to Tex-Mex and Southern faire, the food scene in Chapel Hill is not to be missed. Arts and culture abound with local museums and music venues as well.
