It’s not a family fun day if it doesn’t involve the Museum of Life + Science in Durham! Get ready for a day packed with indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits.  Don’t forget to buy train tickets when you arrive and be sure to pack the kiddos’ swimsuit for the water features at the outdoor Earth Moves exhibit.

Wrapping up a Wonderful Day

Take me out to the ball game! No matter the season, there is family fun to be had cheering on one of our many local sports teams. Hockey fans have the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes  (known locally as the Canes). Baseball lovers can root on the Durham Bulls or Carolina Mudcats, and soccer fans can cheer for the North Carolina FC, not to mention any number of college sports!
